Current Audio is ready to ship its Dipole/Bipole and the LCR Theater series of suite of new installer-friendly speakers. The Dipole/Bipole Series can be used for either rear surround or back surround. When they’re installed, you flip a switch on the back of the speakers to determine which application they will be optimized for. Home automation vendor Control4 is dropping its own line of speakers and selling products from Current Audio instead. Current, founded by former integrators Sean McDermott and Rich Apgar, will be available to authorized Control4 dealers.
