Somewhat surprising is Panasonic’s announcement that the system will be sold exclusively at select Best Buy stores via its specialty Magnolia Home Theater vignettes — in other words, not off the shelves at conventional Best Buy stores. The total combined suggested retail price of the Panasonic Full HD 3D Plasma Home Theater System components is $2,899.99. The system includes:50-inch Panasonic VIERA… View this story

Blu-ray players are becoming a commodity in the sense that a $78 Blu-ray player can be bought at Walmart. Manufacturers do, however, offer compelling reasons why consumers ought to shell out more cash for better Blu-ray players. It’s up to consumers, of course, to decide if those features are worth saving hundreds — or even thousands — of dollars. CES 2010 saw several super-expensive Blu-ray player releases. You'll notice that none of the pricey Blu-ray players are 3D compatible. There weren't many prices — if any — for the 3D-friendly… View this story

The M56 is capable of delivering 1080p/24fps images via HDMI and 1080i via component video, according to the company. Its audio performance is driven by its ability to support 7.1 LPCM, Dolby True HD and DTS Master Audio via HDMI. It also includes 7.1 multichannel analog audio outputs and has the ability to playback CDs encoded with MP3 and WMA digital files. NAD uses same industrial design for the M56 as the… View this story
