The Wall Street Journal is reporting that Google is developing a home entertainment system that will stream music wirelessly to web-connected devices throughout the home and “Google-made speakers.” The system would be marketed under the Google brand, and it would be controllable via smartphone and/or tablet.

Engadget points out that is sounds a lot like a Sonos competitor. Stay tuned!
