Hi i was wondering if anyone would be able to confirm the Advantages and disadvantages of Cascading and Daisy Chaining of HDMI Splitters and switch’s

This could be a long answer getting into the specifics of the HDMI specification.  The short answer is: don’t cascade or daisy chain HDMI switches.  Unless this is a DIY project and you don’t mind having to constantly power cycle your sources and/or displays.  Or spend the money on a large enough matrix solution.

Hi Grizz, we have actually sourced a unit from an HDMI Adopter which can Cascade and works beautifully. Now we are trying to get it done nationally and need to let the person know the Advantages and disadvantages
