We have a job here in Turkey that we are helping another large LV contractor with.
The job requires installation of AMX equipment to automate an auditorium.  We can do the installation but are not an AMX dealer and not familiar with AMX programming.  There is no AMX dealer here (we are a C4 dealer).
We are looking either for a company that does “remote control” programming or an individual with good experience with AMX programming.
Let me know if your company is interested and I’ll send more details.
Thanks,

Grayson

Grayson, I reached out to AMX and AMX Europe via Twitter this morning after reading your post. AMX Europe responded saying they’re on it. Hopefully they’ll be in touch,

We have worked with a large LV contractor company here from time to time.  They have a large job that includes an auditorium in a large government building that is to be “automated”.  No one here is clear what that means.  The specs on the auditorium stated that it would be automated with AMX equipment.  No one knows where that came from.  There is an AMX distributor/installer in Istanbul but not here in Ankara the capital.
Anyway, they purchased the AMX equipment someone put in the spec. but they know nothing about it (how to install or program).  They asked us if we could help.
I did some AMX work back in the 1990’s but don’t remember too much (we are a C4 dealer here).  I can install the equipment and interface it with the A/V gear in the auditorium, but I am not familiar with programming it.  It is not too complicated.  There is a projector, DVD player, extron switch, mixer panel and DMX lighting panel.  The controller is a NI-3100 with one 9” TP.  The UI design is not specified, so anything is OK.

I will try to get up to speed, but I don’t know if you can program the thing remotely (as you can a C4 controller).
It is possible we might fly someone in if necessary.
