Long time reader, first time poster…. Ian is my name and i run a small Home Audio visual / Structured Cabling Company Here in the Republic of Ireland.

Just wondering how all your business’ are doing in the UK, have you suffered the same Construction industry “recession” we have here in Ireland?

If so how have you managed it, expanded, new products / services, retro fitting services offering to clients etc. ??

Are people still buying the Whole home system packages ( Multi room audio, automation etc) or are the smaller Structured cabling solutions, with room for expansion better and more reasonably priced for clients. then again, i suppose there are people out there who there is no recession going on ( as Ricky gervais says in his stand up ..lol ) , do you get many “money is no object” clients ?

Any hoo, just throwing it out there from across the pond to see how the peeps in the UK handle recession changes to the industry… Maybe we can learn form each other…
