I need a 1-in 2-out HDMi splitter (not switch).  The one I am using (a German brand), doesn’t work.  Getting one of these things to work is totally trial and error I know,  Anyone used one that works (at least on your products), I would appreciate it.
HDMI is the worst conspiracy perpetrated on the CEDIA community in it’s history.  How we let this nightmare happen is beyond me.  How f#&@ed up can you get when you’ve got a straightforward signal interconnect that has incompatible software revisions!!
Sorry about the rant.

We use Gefen quite a bit.

But, I know many swear by Key Digital.

You could also check out the Extron.com products.  But note: you are attempting to split a source to multiple displays.  The entire reason for HDMI is to validate the source and display and so the device will need to allow the hand shake and assignment of keys which is where the challenge lies.  It isn’t a straightforward signal interconnect any more.  That’s HDMI.

This is an alternative splitter made by Atlona. It is HDCP compliant, and HDCP keyset allows each output to work independently when connecting to a HDMI display.

I have used both the Gefen and Key Digital splitters. I have never had any problems with either. I have yet to try the Ationa.

For distributing 1 HD video source via HDMI to 2 Displays, you can try an Octava HDMI distribution amp .
It has EDID management and audio outputs if you need to integrate with an audio sytem.

Gefen also has some good ones that should work.
