I know this topic has been around ever since we got stuck with HDMI, but after the dust has settled, I wonder what you have found to be a RELIABLE HDMI extender product (over CAT 5/6 or whatever) and an HDMI switch device.
I was about to rely on Gefen products when my distributor told me they were dropping the line due to numerous complaints about the reliability of the line.
There are a lot of new products out there now as seen at the CEDIA EXPO.
Any advice?

Jeff Boccaccio from DPL Labs is this industry’s master for anything & everything regarding HDMI and has devoted his life to this project. 

Even if Ed is out of your sales territory, he will still take the time to guide you in the right direction since he’s good friends with Jeff and also well versed in this category. Trust me, these guys know their stuff and are always willing to help anyone. We’re talking true industry veterans here, and not to mention, “True Gentlemen!”

I know this info will help you out and save you a lot of time looking elsewhere.
