Every year, there seem to be certain product trends that stand out at CEDIA.

CE Pro has rounded up six we expect to see at the show; what do you think?

- Outdoor A/V
- High-end Speakers
- Thin TVs and Thin Mounts
- In-wall/in-ceiling speakers and cable
- Windows vs. Mac
- Oddball Moneymakers

Several manufacturers will be showing high-end components with HDMI inputs. Many of these units will either be prototypes or units that are actually shipping just after the show. This is something integrators should be on the lookout for at the CEDIA Expo.

Yes, anything (and I mean anything) that makes HDMI easier to work with will be greatly appreciated.

Also, don’t forget iPhone iPhone IPHONE madness! Every manufacturer with an ethernet enabled control system will be showing off their iPhone interface, and those that don’t have one yet will wish they did. You can’t blame them though. A $299 Wifi handheld touch panel (the iPod Touch) will be a nice addition to our industry if manufacturers can figure out how to make the best use of it.
