I noticed (with interest) the recent poll results regarding whether or not the best format won. The results were 68% thought HD DVD was the better product while only 32% felt Blu-ray was the better product. How accurate do you all feel these results are? Does it match your own feelings? Just curious, thanks…

No, I don’t think that does match my feelings.  Blu-Ray IS technically superior, many famous directors (including the infamous Michael Bay) will tell you that the extra capacity of Blu DIRECTLY translates to higher picture and sound quality.  Many insiders in the industry have posted on forums such as bluray.com and avsforums.com (when not being censored/blacklisted by the pro hd-dvd folks at AVS) exactly WHY Blu-Ray is superior and WHY an end user would care.  Fortunately, this is the LAST post I ever feel I will have to write on this subject because in the end, regardless of how “superior” either format was, it was CONTENT that decided the war.

We know who won.  Enough said.

The superior format won. AVS, High Def Digest, Home Theatre Forum and just about every other forum/site on the internet is filled with red ants who spread anti-Blu-ray Microsoft propaganda.  With that being said, I don’t go to Blu-ray.com either, because they are a bunch of BDA shills, and that pisses me off just as much. Trust me, I know what goes on behind the scenes at that place, and it’s not pretty.
