CE Pro Community Copyright (c) 2009 ExpressionEngine tag:cepro.com,2009:01:06 Home Security tag:cepro.com,2008:community/viewthread/.100 2008-11-03T21:38:50Z FullHouseAudio We opened two years ago as a two-person, part-time CE installer.  We have been successful in the home audio and home theater markets and have also done a limited amount of CCTV.  Because we have targeted middle income housing and have not pushed the high-end market, we have not done any home security systems.  We realize there is a lot of opportunity with home security and we are starting to get interest from builders of high-end homes.  We want to start slow and cover our bases before doing an installation.  Are there any resources that anyone would recommend for learning more about home security?

I was curious to know what types of DVD’s you use when setting up an Surroud Sound System, such as setting speaker levels and such.  I have seen a few DVD’s in the past that contained several audio tests tones, and several video clips from good action movies to setup these systems.  Any suggestions on where to buy these would be greatly appreciated.

We’ve all heard the recent stories about employees not get paid their wages and what they made on commission during the liquidation. But what would you do if you were a Tweeter employee and were asked to return to work the liquidation?

Think about it. The economy isn’t booming and jobs are tough to come by. It’s possible Tweeter employees could make a nice commission with all the liquidation sales, but then again they’re not guaranteed to see any of that money. But I’m sure the employees could use that extra $1,000 or whatever they would make in commission.

Would the decision be a no-brainer or would it require some thinking?
