CEPro has always gone out of it’s way to bury bad news about Cedia.

This has dropped to page 3 of the news - http://www.cepro.com/article/cedia_has_never_been_stronger_says_chairman_dennis_erskine/news

CEPro, are you independent industry journalists or Cedia apologists?

Our news appears in chronological order. If this is on page 3 it’s because it was published on Tuesday and we’ve had more news since then.

Now, if we went out of our way to re-date the story to keep it at the top, THAT would be biased, don’t you think?

It’s the biggest story in Custom Install at the moment and you guys aren’t asking any questions.

CEPro has become the home of no comment, by this, I mean that CEPro doesn’t actually go digging behind the stories, it merely republishes press releases.

Vin Bruno has slashed and burnt his way through Cedia - No comment.

20% Cedia staff made redundant - No comment.

Cedia EMEA refused franchise renewal and forced to merge with the US arm - No comment.

Cedia Expo sold - No comment.

Vin Bruno ditches Cedia without notice - No comment.

Any journalist could join a few dots together from the above, carry out a bit of research and come up with a story.

At least someone is asking questions.

Check out Ted Green’s excellent blog at strata-gee.com and Dennis Erskine’s latest response to him that Cedia members DO NOT own the organisation and thus implying that he should stop asking awkward questions.

Previously, I merely thought that Cedia management was arrogant…........
