Phase Technology Unveils TwistLoc Mounting System

Phase Technology is introducing a new mounting system for its CI Series VIII QM round speaker line called TwistLoc.
Installers no longer have to hold the speaker in place overhead while tightening the mounting screws. The speaker can simply be twisted into the flange and held in place while the mounting screws are tightened.
This increases safety and convenience as installers can take their hands off the speaker to reach for tools.
New clamps on the back of the speaker engage with tabs on the flange to hold the speaker tight to the flange until the screws are tightened.
Visit Phase's booth (229) at CEDIA Expo 2008 to check out the TwistLoc mounting system.

6 Flat-Panel Lifts and Mounts Seen at ‘07 CEDIA Expo

For every flat-panel TV at CEDIA Expo -- and they were everywhere -- there was a mount or a lift.
In a way, it was reflective of the state of the industry. While there is little margin in commoditized flat-panel sales, there are profits behind those displays.
So with display mechanisms stepping around displays to take center stage, CEDIA Expo was a mounting manufacturer's dream come true.
And there were several exhibitors living the dream. In fact, there were far too many to list.
Nevertheless, we provide here a recap of the new flat-panel mounting and lifting products that we saw.
