Press Release

New BTX products at CEDIA:

MaxBlox EZ Termination System

MaxBlox DB9
BTX Technologies, previous winner of the CEDIA “Manufacturers’ Excellence Award,” will be showcasing the MaxBlox CD-MX9M (male) and CD-MX9F (female) DB9 connectors. Building on the technology of BTX’s previous solutions, the CD-MX9M and CD-MX9F are new, patent-pending professional 9-pin D-sub connectors that feature an innovative and rugged design, allowing installers to terminate a DB9 with a screwdriver.

The connectors can be panel or cable mounted in a MaxBlox CD-MX915H hood in a fraction of the time it would take to solder, saving both time and money. When used in conjunction with the hood, these connectors simply slide, snap, and lock into the hood without the use of tools.

Optimized for use in any RS-232 or RS-422 applications, the DB9 connectors are manufactured by BTX with genuine Phoenix Contact terminal blocks, the industry standard for reliability. They are also available…

Ethereal’s HDMI-WP21 Wall Plate Kit Optimizes HDMI Cable Installation
HOLLY HILL, Fla., - Ethereal Home Theater introduces the industry-first HDMI-WP21 wall plate kit. The package consists of one HDMI-WP1 wall plate and one HDMI-WP2 wall plate to achieve the best possible performance from multiple HDMI components in the same home theater system.

Ethereal's HDMI-WP1 provides the highest-quality connection point for in-wall CL rated HDMI cables. It utilizes a trace equalized circuit board with the gold-plated HDMI terminals mounted on the top and front edges. This design guarantees that the digital signal path will not be affected by the hard angles normally associated with bringing in HDMI out from the wall. The innovative wall plate also includes an HDMI line conditioner for a cleaner, more robust interface.

The HDMI-WP2 features the same circuit board as the HDMI-WP1, with the addition of Ethereal's HDMI Buss Equalization circuit. The buss EQ helps to stabilize the data transfer over longer distances, and allows systems having more than three HDMI components function with significantly fewer errors.
