Amp Flies 14’ 10” in Tech Olympics

We asked dealers how far the winner would through a big chunk of metal and electronics in the Amp Toss at the Technician Olympics.
The winning team of Depew and Dennis (sorry, that's all we know right now) threw the SpeakerCraft amp 14' 10" and 14' 2", respectively.
Evidently, dealers either underestimated the weight of the amp or overestimated the strength of the participants because every one of the guesses was high.
The winner was Ed Hanley, who guessed 17.575 feet. Ed is with Digital Control Systems, Inc. in New Brighton, Minn.
He will win a multiroom amplified audio system from NuVo for his stunning feat.

SpeakerCraft Pours 1803 Drinks, And the Winner Is

Adam Leichtman guessed 1738 drinks would be poured during the opening showfloor reception sponsored by SpeakerCraft. Adam, get in touch with us and SpeakerCraft will send you an iPod for your stupendous calculation.
In fact, probably at least 65 drinks were dropped or abandoned, so Adam probably guessed pretty closely how many drinks were actually consumed during the reception.
Shawn Leman is the runner-up, with a guess of 1920 drinks. SpeakerCraft will send him some gear for the effort.
Ditto for ControlCode, who had the most original answer and, technically, the correct one:

It’s a trick question everybody.......SpeakerCraft won’t serve any the convention service provider will be serving them. So the answer is ZERO.
