NetStreams, the leader in Networked Audio/Video distribution, is driving a revolutionary shift in how consumers perceive music and video at home. The distributed Audio/Video and Control manufacturer uses forward-thinking engineering to set the standard for highly functional and user-friendly audio and video distribution networks.
Based in Austin, Texas, the live music capital of the United States, the NetStreams' team combines its love for music and movies as well as its passion for technology to the design of cutting-edge solutions that give users total access to their entertainment content throughout their homes. The NetStreams' IP-Based Audio/Video and Control systems deliver a fun and rich user experience, while dramatically reducing the cost of installation and programming for the installer.
NetStreams designed an ingenious networked audio/video distribution and control system that provides easy access to various source components like music servers, CDs, MP3 Players, Video services, Tuners, and more. NetStreams' DigiLinX™, is a family of IP-Based products, designed to create plug-and-play installation with little to no programming for the average installation, bypassing the previously required hours of expensive programming for today's control networks. NetStreams' IP-Based approach also provides impressive scalability, expandability, utility and compatibility with tomorrow's source components.
IP Video Wins
Electronic House Award

DigiLinX IP-Based Multi-Room Video Solution has been named as one of Electronic House magazine's Products of the Year for 2007. The solution is the first video distribution system to distribute uncompressed, high definition video/multi-channel audio to multiple displays throughout a home over a TCP/IP network.

This innovation demonstrates NetStreams' unmatched vision and pursuit of the future. The Company believes the custom electronics market is at a crossroads, and it has seized the opportunity to lead this market into the future. That's why NetStreams won't stop at audio. The company is set on providing installers IP-Based distribution and control solutions throughout the entire home–for high-quality audio and video, with integration onto security, lighting, and HVAC systems, to follow.
Pioneers of Networked Audio and Video
As a pioneer in networked audio/video NetStreams has been on the forefront of innovating new technologies for distributing content over IP Networks. First, NetStreams’ StreamNet technology, enabling streaming of audio and video, synchronized to within 500 microseconds, eliminating echo effects commonly present in other systems. Then delivering the first commercial uncompressed high-definition video distribution system, scalable to hundreds of sources and displays, and delivering pixel for pixel image reproduction. More recently demonstrating the world’s first IP home theater at CEDIA 2007 and delivering an IP Home Theater bridge, TheaterLinX, in 2008.
NetStreams mantra of continuous innovation is an ongoing benefit to all of our customers, with new software features being delivered to existing product. Our customers have benefited from software upgrades that delivered features like whole home paging and intercom, upgraded sound quality, and more.
NetStreams Product Lines NetStreams DigiLinX is the flagship product line, delivering pristine quality audio and video to an unlimited number of zones. Additionally, DigiLinX features built in control capabilities, integrating with some of the best known brands for lighting, HVAC, Security and more. DigiLinX is also a “green” product, not only allowing control of lighting and HVAC as many other home control systems offer, but providing a unique distributed architecture that uses only the components of the system that are necessary for the zone you’re in. Each amplifier is placed in the room, and unlike centralized systems the entire 16 zone amplifier need not be running all the time just to play one zone. For installers, these benefits coupled with a simple installation and configuration process make DigiLinX the right choice.
NetStreams' Musica 5000 series Audio Distribution System is designed to deliver superior audio performance and features interactive keypads that are very easy to install and operate. The advanced design of the Musica MU5066 places digital amplifiers in each room, behind each keypad, rather than in one central location. This improves sound quality by reducing noise, distortion and power losses as well as increasing reliability and simplifying the installation. Optional FM tuner keypads allow every room an independent selection of radio stations.
NetStreams Panorama is a point to multi-point, balanced line level High Definition Video Distribution & Control system, distributing up to four HDTV (1080i) video sources to six display locations. The PAN6400 Video Distribution Center serves as the central video switch. It distributes and controls your choice of four Composite, four S-Video, or four Component video sources via CAT5 up to six 6 PANVP500 Video Ports located up to1000 feet away. The PAN6400 Video Distribution Centers also provide IR control and routing for each of the 6 displays and each of the 4 sources, eliminating the need for costly control routing components that are required with other video matrix switches. Multiple PAN6400 Video Distribution Centers can be cascaded for distribution of video for larger systems.
NetStreams Quartet Q4000 enables homeowners to enjoy exceptional audio quality from as many as nine (9) different global audio sources, such as an FM tuner, DVD player, satellite radio, and more, in up to four different zones or areas of your home at the same time. NetStreams Quartet Q4000 includes four slim line, in-wall keypads and a Multi-room Processor that features a 400-watt amplifier. In addition to audio distribution, the Q4000 also provides intercom and paging functionality, delivering an unbeatable value.
