The PROFICIENT ZERO™ Wireless Music System adds powerful new features that build on the success of the company’s AirFlex system. PROFICIENT ZERO™ transmits high-quality stereo sound up to 90 feet, eliminating the need for costly wire runs through walls of existing homes and buildings. The system consists of a transmitter and receiver, which has a built-in digital stereo amp as well as a line-level subwoofer output. New features include the capability to expand up to as many as eight receivers per transmitter. The transmitter transmits three discrete channels of analog audio + optical digital audio. Use the receiver remote to select between the transmitted analog audio, optical PCM or a local audio source. The receiver also has stereo line output and a front LED display. With the PROFICIENT ZERO™ system, adding music in any room is simple: connect the transmitter to the source and connect the receiver to a pair of speakers (and a subwoofer if desired). PROFICIENT ZERO™ can also convert any subwoofer to wireless operation. The 1.5-inch-thick receiver is also available separately, so it can be used as a utility amplifier to get better sound from TVs and computers. A remote control is included.
