The first solution of its kind, LiivController™ combines multi-room audio and control in one cost-effective system. Powered by VidaBox’s new vAutomation 2.0™ control platform, LiivController provides convenience and remote management by allowing any iPad®, iPhone®, or iPod Touch® to access the system via Wi-Fi, turning these popular devices into the ultimate touch screen interface for any system component via IR, TCP/IP, and RS-232 commands sent from LiivController. The powerful vAutomation 2.0 platform can also be used to control any VidaBox media center, giving users complete access to Blu-ray discs, Netflix, and more, and allowing them to browse through their media in the cover-flow style familiar to Apple® users. The entry-level LC-200 LiivController system offers control for four zones of synchronized multiroom audio, without the need for additional matrix switchers. The system provides Internet radio support via SqueezeBox, in addition to a variety of devices with two-way feedback. Audio can be streamed from stored music collections in any location across the network. The LiivController unit features seven 3.5-mm ports that can be used as IR, video sensor, contact closure sensor, or voltage sensor ports. The systems feature built-in IR learners and are expandable using Global Caché devices.
