There are three versions of the TEQ electronic room correction EQ featuring Trinnov technology: the TEQ-4 (four-channels for hifi systems), TEQ-8 (eight-channels) and TEQ-12 (twelve-channels). The TAP-Microphone (Tetrahedral Acoustic Probe) connects to the TEQ and its four-mic heads triangulate the position of the speakers including their elevation. The TEQ then measures the loudspeakers, room-environments and the relationship of loudspeaker-to-room. The TEQ features auto-calibration for first-timers as well as the most advanced acoustical-settings for seasoned-acousticians. The TEQ is a fully self-contained featuring all of the powerful tools available in the pro Trinnov Optimizer used it in post-production houses, movie studios, recording studios, and broadcasting facilities. The TEQ features 30 presets which can be setup for different room uses, seating positions and even positions that change (spinning a room). ADA’s TEQ features RS-232 control codes for easy integration. In addition to optimizing room speakers, the TEQ can also replace both passive and active crossovers as well as correcting acoustical issues such as amplitude, phase, balance and delay.
