Ooma Telo Air with 802.11n Wi-Fi technology allows consumers with wireless home networks to untether their Ooma Telo from the modem/router and place it anywhere in the home place, a VoIP provider first. The Ooma system identifies the Ooma Telo as a high-priority endpoint so that Ooma network traffic will receive the appropriate QoS on the home network and upstream connection. The Adaptive Redundancy and advanced voice compression of PureVoice™ HD overcomes any performance degradation in the Wi-Fi network.
