The SNP-1 Streaming Network Player enables the ESC to merge all of a home’s music sources into one simple interface. ESCs can provide clients with instant access to streaming music services like Pandora, Rhapsody, Sirius/XM and thousands of internet radio stations. End users can search for their favorite tracks while monitoring their playlists through a colorful graphical user interface on a URC Total Control video display. When the SNP-1 is installed with URC’s Total Control amplifiers (the DMS-1200 Multi-Zone Network Amplifier or the DMS-100 Single Zone Amplifier), it gains superior media streaming capabilities. Zero compression is added to CD-quality streams that can be routed to various locations in one whole-house system. Mom can stream Pandora in the kitchen from her iPod that’s docked in the basement, while dad can send traffic reports to the shower before the morning commute via streaming internet radio, all at the same time. In a Total Control multi-zone audio system, end users can stream multiple music sources simultaneously and independently of each other. In a typical installation, each member of the house is set up with their own SNP-1, and each user can access their own personalized music source at any given time.

Sleekly designed and easily rackmountable, the SNP-1 can provide full two-way communication on Total Control remotes, as well as be programmed off-premises via the internet, when used with URC’s MRX-10 Advanced Network System Controller.
