ihiji invision is the category’s only cloud-based network monitoring / support system, enabling 24/7 two-way communication with control, entertainment, network, HVAC, lighting systems and more; granting integrators the ability to remotely monitor, service and maintain their client’s electronics systems. Typically sold via an annual service contract, invision 2011 consists of a low-power/energy-efficient device installed at the client site which monitors components and reports deviations to ihiji’s back-end servers in real-time. Deviation notifications sent automatically to assigned integrators by email or SMS provide diagnostics and a secure web interface provides status/alert history, enabling system downtime scheduling or facilitating remote support. Monitored aspects include component availability; temperature; hard drive status; projector bulb life; ink / toner levels; processor loads and memory availability. Sensitive electronic components, which often require resetting, repair or replacement services, are easily serviced remotely with invision, providing prompt and profitable resolution. ihiji’s proactive approach facilitates sustainable recurring revenue streams and reduced service department overhead for integrators. ihiji created and therefore retains total control over the invision product roadmap, thereby enabling swift feature enhancements without burdening dealers with third-party licensing fees or additional server costs – which every other solution requires.
