The KanexPro Long-Runner with PoE (Power over Ethernet) employs HDBase T technology to route high-resolution HDMI signals from the source up to 330 feet (100m) to your HD display. The system consists of two powered devices; transmitter and receiver, both included. It supports full 3D video with resolutions up to 4Kx2K (4 times 1080p), multi-channel audio, and IR extension over a single low cost CAT5e/6 cable with bandwidths up to 10.2 Gbps. Sources of HDMI such as Blu-ray disc players, digital video recorders, game consoles, PC’s, mobile devices, can all be integrated using the HDBASEPOE. Power over Ethernet, not only eliminates excess or unwanted power drain but, also provides power to the receiver at the remote location, giving the ultimate freedom to the display or projector from being tethered to the AC outlet. Fully compliant with HDCP and EDID, it also supports CEC for one-touch control of multiple devices. Uncompressed Digital Audio Formats are also supported including Dolby TrueHD, DTS Master Audio, and 7.1 Surround Sound The HDBASEPOE integrates easily in a residential environment, home-theater business or corporate installation.
