Liberty AV Solution’s HD Termination System consists of a field terminable HDMI shielded cable and connector. The cable features an overall round jacket with a unique internal ribbon cable design to facilitate easy field termination in just minutes while maintaining the signal integrity of the system. The connector features an IDC contact design that eliminates the need for soldering or wire stripping. The connector also provides 400% greater retention force than typical HDMI connectors. Supported distance is 30 feet (typical) at 1080p resolution. Connectors are sold in packages of 10, Liberty p/n DL-HDMCPK. Cable is available in 250ft (DL-HDMCBL-250) or 500ft (DL-HDMCBL-500) reel in box.

Features

The HD termination system provides the installer the capability to make custom length cable assemblies in the field. The ribbon cable design is much easier to terminate than other field terminable connectors that utilize 19 discrete conductors. The ribbon cable and IDC design provides better consistency and higher performance than solder terminated factory assembled cables.

Often times installers simply cannot determine the exact cable length requirements until time of installation. They are forced to pay more for longer length cables than actually required and then must find creative ways to conceal excess cable slack.
