Atlona’s AT-PRO2HD1616M-SR HDBaseT 16x16 HDMI matrix switcher features 16 HDMI 1.4 inputs and 16 independently switchable HDBaseT (CAT5/6/7) outputs. The AT-PRO2HD1616M-SR has the ability to equalize, amplify, and re-clock the signal to ensure HDMI-accurate signal transmission through long cables without quality loss. Coming off of the success of the previous version (AT-PROHD1616M-SR), this unit has been updated and advanced with HDBaseT technology, allowing transmission distances of 330 feet over twisted pair cable (CAT5/6/7) with resolution up to 4Kx2K (four times the 1080p resolution). HDBaseT technology allows for digital video, pure uncompressed 7.1-channel audio, two-channel stereo pass-through, deep color, and full 3D support to be sent over a single Cat5/6/7. These bullet-proof switchers are HDCP compliant, and provide bidirectional RS-232 and zone-specific bidirectional IR pass-through up to 60 Khz, allowing users to send and receive IR signals from a remote location using a third-party control system like Control4 or RTI.
