WattStopper Niagara AX Driver Module Streamlines Installer Duties
WattStopper is offering its Niagara AX driver module as a free download to electronics professionals.
WattStopper says that originally the software module was developed as a JACE tool however, through some additional upgrades the newly released AX driver is compatible with other products within the family.
“Through our long history of working with system integrators, WattStopper has developed core competencies with the technologies they employ and adopted BACnet and the Niagara AX framework for delivering turnkey networked lighting control solutions,” says Jonathan Cartrette, product line manager, WattStopper. “Learning to efficiently support device and point management prompted us to automate everything we could. We are very excited to share this powerful capability with the Niagara community.”
WattStopper says that with the module electronics professionals can expedite the setup process when they are combining its Digital Lighting Management (DLM) controls with its Niagara controllers in commercial environments. The key component of the module is its ability to automatically discover all DLM lighting controls on the BACnet network and provide data points to installing professionals.
The company also points out that its products are all based on open protocols to provide property owners and installers with the flexibility to utilize a number of points of integration and solutions that are code compliant.
