08.14.2008 — FORT COLLINS, Colo.– Allied Manufacturers of Motorized Products (AMMP), a newly formed consortium of leaders and manufacturers of interior and exterior window coverings and shadings, projection screens and media concealment products, announced today that Vutec Corporation has signed on as its newest founding member, adding yet another industry visionary that seeks to connect motorization to automation.

Vutec's decision to join the alliance comes on the heels of AMMP's announcement that lighting control and automated window treatment industry leader Lutron has joined AMMP as a founding member. Both industry-leading companies made the decision to sign onto the alliance because they want to assist AMMP in its effort to bridge the gap between motorization and automation.

Vutec is one of the world's leading video projection screen manufacturers for home, commercial, industrial and institutional markets worldwide. Vutec's products are comprised of a wide-variety of video projection screens and accessories, masking systems and AV presentation tools.

AMMP is also currently seeking to add as founding members other visionary companies willing to invest in building the home and commercial control and automation industry.
