Extender is HDMI v1.3 compatible and HDCP compliant with 120Hz refresh rates.
Tributaries Cable is introducing a new HDMI extender that sends signals to devices up to 130 feet (40 meters) away.
The HX101 is HDMI v1.3 compatible, HDCP compliant and supports 1440p resolutions, Deep Color 10/12/16-bit signal-formatting and xvYCC Color Space.
HX101, which runs on 5 volts of power, also supports Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master loss audio and refresh rates up to 120Hz.
Tributaries designed the HX101 to be backward-compatible, and the company is ensuring "noise-free high-definition images and digital audio performance."
The HX101 is available now for $150. Tributaries will be exhibiting at CEDIA Expo 2008 at booth 614.
The company also recently added the HDA140 HDMI splitter to its whole-house A/V solutions. The one-input, four-out splitter sends signals to four zones simultaneously up to 100 feet away.
