Transparent’s Latest Digital Cables Bring Listeners Closer to Music
Transparent Audio's products can be found in music studios all over the world. Recently, the Saco, Maine-based company introduced two new digital audio cables.
For such a small company, Transparent Audio has a big history with a who’s who list of users that includes Bob Ludwig, Roy Halee and Shawn Murphy, and recently the Saco, Maine-based company announced its latest digital audio cables.
The company’s newest products leverages Transparent’s decades of experience in the design of digital audio cables, and it says that during the development of the new Reference II 75-Ohm Digital Link and Reference II AES/EBU cable, the company examined everything from the cables’ dielectric materials and raw materials extrusion techniques, to their conductor size and connector technologies. Transparent boasts that the final result of its research into how it could improve the performance of its digital cables provides more precise impedance characteristics along the entire length of its cables and better noise reduction.
Transparent assembles its cables by hand in its facilities outside of Portland, Maine, and the cables are available in a choice of lengths to service any connection requirement electronics professionals will encounter in the field.
