The Super Bowl of Home Theater Products
In fact, these products often represent a better value than an expensive flat-panel TV. For as little as $1,500, a sports or TV junkie can purchase a nice 1080p projector and pair it with a 92-inch screen to create a quality video system that costs about the same as a 60-inch 240Hz LED HDTV.
Add a nice remote control and a lighting dimmer, and a homeowner can make a reasonable investment into a video system that can grow and expand as their video needs change without sacrificing quality.
The video part, of course, is only half the equation. A good sound system not only allows for the playback of music and surround sound content, it also adds to the ambiance of sporting events and live shows.
There are many ways consumers can handle their A/V system, but we thought it’d be fun to take the money-is-no-object approach to the ideal Super Bowl setup.
We’ve rounded up products that would create a system that would look great showing Ray Lewis chase Colin Kaepernick during Super Bowl XVLII, but also perform great with network programming, movies and surround sound music videos.
