11.25.2008 — Sooloos has lowered the cost of its Ensemble System to $7,900, becoming the least expensive system it offers.
The company, which used to require separate components for storage and playback, has combined the two into a single server that holds 2,400 albums in lossless FLAC files and 192 kbps MP3 files.
It also features a 17-inch Sooloos Control:One touchscreen with a USB port for uploading digital files.
The Ensemble System can send music to up to four zones and is compatible with the iPhone, iPod touch and other third-party control systems.
Sooloos can back up the files with a one-touch, PC-based application and load files to the Ensemble System via PC.
MSRP: $7,900
