Savant’s Rosie iPhone App Now Available
For $200, Rosie owners can use their iPhone to control their home automation systems.
Savant Systems' iPhone and iPod Touch application for its Rosie control system is now available in Apple's App Store, the company announced.
The application costs $199 for users who own a Rosie system installed by a certified Savant dealer.
The application handles every aspect of the Rose system, including the on-screen display. Savant says that, with the application, the iPhone/Touch can handle control equally as well as any in-wall or free-standing touchpanel.
Savant's application can be found under Lifestyle -- Utilities in the App store.
iPhone applications were out in full force at CEDIA Expo, where Savant previewed their official offering. Lifeware, Crestron and Control4 are among the HA manufacturers showing their apps at the show.
