05.19.2008 — Savant Systems has unveiled its two new facilities located fifteen minutes from each other in Cape Cod, Mass.

The company's headquarters is now on Main St. in Osterville, Mass. in a 12,000-square-foot building that houses executive offices and conference rooms, as well as marketing, inside sales, and accounting personnel.

The building is also home to all hardware, software, and firmware engineers, as well as the IT and graphics departments.

"We were able to house critical operations in our headquarters, in addition to a state-of-the-art training facility and a small prototyping area," says Savant CFO and VP of operations Bruce Myers.

Savant's 27,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Hyannis, MA is connected to the Osterville headquarters through a networking system.

"Our factory is equipped with a thermo-chamber (tests reactions to hot and cold temperatures) and EMI testing chamber, allowing us to prepare for required certifications," Myers explains.

All final product testing and burn-in is accomplished in Hyannis, and the facility also houses offices for operations staff and shipping and receiving departments.

"Our new facilities have been appointed to accommodate future expansion while allowing Savant to maximize operational productivity and efficiency right now," says Myers.
