RTI RTiPanel App for the iPod Touch, iPhone and iPad
With the newly released iPod Touch, iPhone and iPad app from RTI, installers can provide a clean and simple interface to clients that are interested in utilizing Apple products to control their RTI-based control systems.
RTI’s new app for Apple’s iPad, iPod Touch and iPhone can be used in tandem with the company’s XP series of control processor to provide a means of system control while utilizing Apple’s popular products.
With Apple, Inc. continuing to innovate on the mainstream level of consumer electronics, its products are finding ways into the specialty custom electronics market through the industry's acceptance of its hardware and software solutions.
The latest company adopting Apple's technologies to drive the use of its custom-oriented product line is Remote Technologies Incorporated (RTI). RTI's new RTiPanel App for the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad enables users to control their RTI XP series of remote processor components, including the Minn.-based company's flagship XP-8 processor and its XP-6 and XP-3 products.
RTI says installers can configure the customizable user interface by using its Integration Designer programming software to facilitate the control of their clients' A/V, HVAC, security and home automation devices.

So, where is it?
I asked Pete Baker from RTI. Here’s his response:
As for RTiPanel: It is not released yet, just debuted. It is expected to be released at the end of this year. Integrators can design the GUI within our Integration Designer program, then download the license from iTunes.
They used to say “in two weeks”, now it’s “in four months”. Better late than…well never mind.
That reminds me of what “SONY” is an acronym for:
Soon Only; Not Yet
