Qsonix Unveils Digital Music Management System in Beautiful Nostalgic Jukebox
Equipped with four zone multi-room capabilities
Westlake Village, CA (October 11, 2007) – Qsonix, renowned as a leading innovator in music management systems, unveils its new Nostalgic Digital Jukebox (Model QJB110) today. The new model's beautiful, handcrafted solid walnut and die cast metal authentic exterior showcases the most powerful music management system in the world – along with the industry's simplest and fastest drag-and-drop user interface.
Unlike any other jukebox or music management system on the market, the QJB110 Nostalgic Digital Jukebox's powerful music system stores up to 9,000 CDs and delivers studio reference quality digital sound.
"Nostalgia is way better than it used to be," said Mike Weaver, president and co-founder of Qsonix. "The terrific jukebox exterior is ideal for media rooms, game rooms and businesses looking to create the perfect atmosphere, and delivers digital-age music management and exquisite sound quality at the same time."
No ordinary jukebox, the QJB110 operates as a stand-alone jukebox music system with built-in 360W amp, speakers and subwoofer and as a multi-zone music management system that can be shared throughout the home. Four outputs let users enjoy different playlists in different zones simultaneously. Each zone can be independently controlled with separate playlists, playback and volume control. The system easily integrates with existing home networking and control systems such as such as AMX, Crestron and others. It includes iPod transfer, CD burning, web browsing and automatic Internet updates so users can stay ahead of every new technology as it arrives.
The user interface is a Qsonix exclusive: the Nostalgic Digital Jukebox's unique drag-and-drop touch screen makes the entire music library available at the touch of a fingertip. Adding new music is quick and easy: insert CDs into the QJB110 CD-ROM drive. The system automatically stores them on the systems 500GB hard drive and retrieves the albums' cover art, musician, title, genre, reviews and track information by accessing All Media Guides vast database of descriptive music content. Users can create multiple, individualized play lists for every mood and occasion – workouts, entertaining friends and business associates, party selections – for complete personalization. The Nostalgic Digital Jukebox offers the one sound management system that can be used with utmost flexibility and complete enjoyment.
Reinforcing Qsonix's commitment to high-quality sound, the Nostalgic Digital Jukebox uses the Windows Media Audio (WMA) Lossless compression format, so listeners get a satisfying bit-for-bit match of their original CDs.
Because Qsonix's built-in interface to the MusicGiants Store is one click away, browsing, sampling and buying new music is easy as well. Users can quickly browse or search by artist, genre, year, album or new releases, select tracks to sample or purchase, and start enjoying new tunes in full-resolution within seconds of making their selection.
"Our powerhouse Album Browser user interface and robust touch-screen drag and drop technologies make shopping for more than 500,000 high-quality digital audio tracks a lot of fun," concluded Qsonix's Weaver. "The whole system is outside-the-box thinking and perfect for music lovers, CD collectors and listeners of all kinds. It will add a touch of history and demand attention in any room!"
