Atlona Technologies has launched its
AT-HD570 HDMI 1.3 Audio De-Embedder, a device that can retrieve digital audio signals from any HDMI source.
The device will strip the audio signal to either Optical or Multi-channel stereo audio inputs, while the video remains on the HDMI cable.
The audio decoder supports:
- Uncompressed analog LPCM 7.1
- New lossless compressed digital audio
- Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus and DTS-HD Master Audio
- High-definition video up to 1080p
The AT-HD570, which also includes CEC bypass and video pass-through, supports digital video formats in Deep Color Mode from 25MHz to 6.75GHz for 36 bits.
The AT-HD570 can also serve as a repeater and is HDCP-compliant. It doesn't scale or upconvert. The AT-HD570 is now available for pre-order.
