Nexus Exhibits new LCD and Plasma HDTV line
Eleven HDTV models range from 19 to 63 inches, all with dual HDMI ports, removable speakers, RS-232 communications.
08.29.2007 — PRESS RELEASE
Portland, Ore., September 7, 2007 - Nexus Electronics, a division of CTL Corporation (CTL), is exhibiting its third-generation family of plasma and LCD televisions, including four new mid-size models, September 5-8 at the CEDIA Expo in Denver, CO.
The latest Nexus line, shown in Nexus Electronics' booth (#1077) is comprised of 11 models, ranging from 19-inches to 63-inches with prices varying from $399 to $5,999. The newest sets are 19-inches., 26-inches., 32-inches and 42-inches.
The full line offers ATSC support enabled by built in High Definition (HD) tuners that accommodate the latest HD content. Each model provides Dual High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI), doubling the ability to handle uncompressed audio/video streams while providing support for devices such as the very latest video game consoles, DVD players, and other digital audio/video equipment.
All LCD models include removable speakers to achieve surround sound configurations. RS-232 with communication protocol gives custom installers capability for calibration, adjustments, firmware upgrades, and access to service menus.
Finally, all models are Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA compliance) supported up to the largest sets to effectively facilitate installation.
