Music Hall’s Flagship MMF-11 Turntable Features a Quad Plinth That Isolates Noise
Music Hall’s flagship MMF-11 turntable carries an MSRP of approximately $4,000 and it offers audiophile features such as magnetic-levitation adjustable feet, gold-plated RCA output connectors, fully adjustable azimuth, VTA and dampened arm lift options and push button speed controls.
Music Hall says the MMF-11 is a two-speed, belt-driven turntable that employs its proprietary quadruple-plinth construction design that isolates the table’s hardware from noise. The New York City company says the table’s motors, flywheel and speed control are further isolated on their own vibration-damped dual-plinth platform which is isolated from the upper three main plinths. Other features built into the turntable include a one-piece Pro-Ject 9cc Evolution carbon-fiber tonearm, adjustable azimuth, vertical tracking angle (VTA) options; a dampened arm lift and a microprocessor controlled dual-motor single flywheel drive system.
In addition, the turntable also features the ability to select either 33 1/3 and 45 RPM from the touch of a button, and the MMF-11 incorporates installer friendly detachable gold-plated output cables.
