There are lots of multiroom audio systems to choose from. And knowing what system is right for your client isn't always easy.

We asked CE pros what they like most about their preferred multiroom audio system, and it turned out to be our most popular story in October 2009.

In the spirit of Halloween, we rounded up "7 Horrific Wiring Jobs" that were sent to us. These really do never get old. We had more messes from cable guys and installers who just don't care. Remember, if you come across a horrible wiring job, snap a picture, write a short caption and
send it to me.

Russound's acquisition of Colorado vNet was the fourth-most popular story in October, drawing nearly 20 comments and reaction throughout the industry. The story also produced one of the most popular forum topics we've ever had.

Big-box retailers had a major presence on our site in October. AudioVision's Best Buy-inspired showroom came in at No. 6 and Wal-Mart starting to offer TV and home theater installation came in at No. 7.

There also were a few goodies left over from CEDIA Expo 2009: "CEDIA 2009: 8 Things I Really Want for My House" and "14 Hidden Gems at CEDIA Expo 2009."
