Microsoft to Train Installers on Windows Media Center
Microsoft will train installers on everything from Windows Media Center basics to setup and configuration of Windows Home Server.
07.03.2008 — Microsoft plans on unveiling new technologies for Windows Media Center (WMC) at CEDIA Expo 2008.
The WMC team will be located at booth 410 to showcase the new hardware and updates and train installers about the WMC as a whole-home entertainment solution.
Microsoft will instruct installers on everything from the basics of WMC installations to the setup and configuration of Windows Home Server. (See chart).
The company will also be announce the winner of the 2008 Windows Media Center Ultimate Install Contest, Microsoft's competition for custom installers.
Entries for the contest close August 1. The winning entry will be announced September 6.
