The PS3 is used by many Home Theater enthusiasts, and the PS3 is much more of a “high-end home theater product” than an HD DVD player.
Just because someone bought a PS3 doesn’t necessarily mean that they have no preference and didn’t buy it for the Blu-ray playback.
Now Paramount studios is going to drop it’s support of the HD DVD format after Warner Bros studio said it would back the competing Blu-ray format. First Warner Brothers goes all Blue-ray then porn follows suit, and now this. I think the format war has just been won, and all that’s left is for HD DVD to waive the white flag.
When will they release Porno movies on Blue Ray?
Vivid has begun releasing all adult DVD titles simultaneously on Blu-ray.
That means about 1 titel per week

And at http://www.adultbluray.com there are already 96 Adult blu rays on sale but only one gay blu ray
“...already 96 Adult blu rays on sale but only one gay blu ray” Interesting point. Not sure why you mentioned it, but it is interesting.

This Christmas I installed five times the gaming centers I did the previous years 60% PS3, 20% XBOX360, and the rest were a mix of others including two Golf simulators. In all but one PS3 system the deciding reason to use it was the Blue-ray. The few 360’s I put in still went with a standalone Blue-ray player. That tells me the PS3 has a lot to do with the success of the format, and the fact that the 360 only has external HD DVD it’s no wonder im seeing so many PS3 and Blue-ray systems.
