Key Digital to Intro ‘Smart Baluns’ with Two-Way Control
In addition to Smart Baluns, Key Digital will show the new Hercules Series of 8x8 switchers over Cat 5/6/7.
Key Digital, manufacturer of all manner of A/V switchers, baluns, extenders and other problem solvers is releasing a new line of switchers at CEDIA: the Hercules Series.
Details right now are scant, but we know that the KD-MSCAT8X8 will be able to switch up to eight component/RGBHV video sources to eight independent outputs via Cat 5/6/7 with digital/analog audio.
The unit can control tone, balance and lip sync control for each zone.
In addition, the company will debut its new and "first to market" Smart Baluns under the FatCAT series of Cat 5 baluns.
The new A/V baluns include VGA/component connectors and can transmit bi-directional RS-232 or IR up to 1000 feet for delivering both control and content.
Products numbers are KD-VACTX, KD-VACRX and KD-VACWPRX.
