NetStreams A/V Control in 16 Languages - Just in Time for Olympics
French, Germans, Russians, Chinese and other non-English speakers can get A/V control and home automation in native language.

08.11.2008 — Whether you install systems internationally, or simply have multilingual customers in the U.S., NetStreams has a solution for controlling audio/video gear and automation subsystems such as lighting and thermostats.

At CEDIA Expo 2008, the company is introducing a multilingual GUI package for programming in any of 16 languages, including French, German, Russian and Chinese.

“The international markets of Asia and Europe, especially in rapid growth economies like China and Russia, have been a tremendous growth engine for the company and continue to represent a fertile market for products like ours,” says NetStreams CEO Kevin Reinis. “Giving our installers the ability to customize each interface to suit the language needs of each user will enhance the end-users’ experience and give our dealers a competitive edge.”

Part of NetStreams’ DigiLinX IP-based A/V and automation system, the new GUI is compatible with TouchLinX LCD touchscreens, as well as third-party Web devices.

While the GUI displays control functionality in the local language, the metadata (artist, album, song, cover art, play list) will continue to be displayed in its native sourced language.
