Switzerland-based Goldmund has opened its first retail store in the U.S. Located in Wellington, West Palm Beach, Fla., the store has already welcomed its first VIP customers during a three-day private inauguration and is now open to the public.
The new Goldmund store presents audio and video products in a home environment, as an echo to the Los Angeles Goldmund House in which each room is equipped with a different Goldmund system. It welcomes customers by appointment only. The store feature high-end refinement, from light colors of the décor to scented candles and soft modern furniture.
In the living room, patrons can hear several models of Goldmund standalone speakers listening to their favorite tracks while drinking a glass of champagne, or watch video solutions such as the Goldmund MetisLife ultra-short-throw projector. In the home cinema, the Goldmund Logos system is demo’ed. The room includes fabric-covered walls to enhance room acoustics and motorized leather sofas with an incline mechanism, allowing customers to adjust the footrest and headrest position to their preferred comfort.
A conference area includes a large screen television for the presentation of Goldmund AV projects proposals to end users, including interior designers and architects. Goldmund’s market approach is to be a “one-stop shop” for integrators for audio, video and acoustics.
Integrators interested in hosting clients at the showroom need to request an appointment. For more information, they can contact the Goldmund West Palm Beach Store manager, Jakub Paszynin, by phone at 610-633-8166 or by e-mail at [email protected]
