Fusion Adds Photo Management to Media Servers
Slideshows scale to 1080p and can be set to music on system's audio server.

07.25.2008 — Fusion Research is adding a slideshow feature to its media servers.
This enables full-screen slideshows of digital photos with scaling up to 1080p. The slideshows also can be set to music on the system's audio server.
The company's media servers can now display HD DVDs, CDs, MP3s and digital photos across a home network.
Fusion says the slideshow feature will be available as a free upgrade for existing Fusion Genesis or Cinema Server customers before CEDIA Expo 2008.
"We see the role of our media server expanding as the central depository of all digital entertainment in the home," says Fusion VP or sales Ingo Schmoldt.
A recent study from Forrester Research says the media server market will grow to more than 4.5 million U.S. households by 2012.
