Now the company is rebuilding under the leadership of new owner and CEO Bill Thomas. He has named Bob Brown, former president and CEO of Lenbrook America, as interim COO of Thiel. In that role, Brown will “provide the company’s new ownership with a complete analysis of the existing operation, including manufacturing, domestic and international sales as well as marketing.”
Brown also was named to Thiel’s board of directors.
Brown says he hopes to meld the “contemporary business ideals” of the new owners with Thiel’s brand legacy.
In addition to leading Lenbrook America, which distributed NAD Electronics and PSB Speakers, Brown was president of Tivoli Audio and currently serves as the international sales manager for ZVOX Audio.
