03.17.2008 — ELAN Home Systems revealed the first software upgrade for the N800 Handheld Touch Controller at EHX Spring.
The upgrade, available through a free Internet download, gives users full control of iPods, docked with a VIA!migo, and portable wireless control of their VIA!dj II Digital Music Server.
In addition to compatibility with the company’s multiroom controllers and entertainment sources, the N800 provides wireless control of home theater, lighting, temperature and security systems from any room, as well as easy access to the Internet for email and other Web functions.

The N800’s MSRP is $1,200.
