Press Release: ELAN Launches Web Site and Consumer-Directed Campaign
Company expands nationwide marketing efforts with addition of new marketing tools for dealers.

06.27.2008 — Lexington, KY — ELAN Home Systems, a leading manufacturer of award-winning Multi-Room audio/video and home control systems, announced the launch of a new fully integrated marketing communications program that gives ELAN Dealers added tools to achieve success with their customers. The announcement was made today by Paul Starkey, ELAN's Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

"The lead in ELAN's new effort is a fresh approach to our marketing communications with a new series of consumer-directed ads supported by a completely new consumer-friendly website which we launched in May," said Mr. Starkey. "The overall messaging is 'ELAN is the one company for all entertainment, communications and control needs.' The campaign highlights the position we have maintained for nearly twenty years - in a fresh way. We are excited to help our Dealers further simplify and solidify solutions for their clients with these efforts."

The program's consumer ad campaign spans both print and broadcast media and directs consumers to ELAN's new website which offers almost unlimited access to information about ELAN Home Systems and its products, its sister companies, HomeLogic and Sunfire, and its Dealers. The new website reflects the expansive look of the ads with information relevant to consumers that is nested in expanding levels of detail for easy reading as well as stellar new graphics, flash demos and easier than ever downloads.

The new site also supports Dealers with both informational tools for their existing customers as well as referrals of new clients who come to the site through the ads and search engines based on their location and needs. As a result, ELAN Dealers will have even more powerful new tools to help customers better understand Whole Home Systems, ELAN's products and how they easily interact with its sister companies' products, as well as all of ELAN's partner manufacturers who work closely with ELAN for seamless product integration.

"Both the ads and website cut new ground for ELAN," added Cat Fowler, Vice President of Marketing and Technical Services. "We have invested in and are delivering not only these items, but a whole series of invaluable marketing tools that will significantly help our Dealers boost their bottom lines. The campaign comes on the heels of our new ELAN logo, and also further promotes our recently announced Power of Three initiative which brings together ELAN, Sunfire and HomeLogic in order to deliver the first truly seamless home system for Dealers, backed by a support, training and sales infrastructure unlike any other in the business."

The reaction from ELAN Dealers has been very supportive. Multiple award-winning Dealers Ralph Scrofani and Ron Roslasky of Home Systems Inc. in Pompton Plains, New Jersey are both impressed. Mr. Scrofani said, "We like the visibility the new ELAN marketing program brings to us as Dealers. We have an established reputation, but knowing that potential customers will not only understand what we can do for them but have an excellent on-line product resource is a very helpful selling tool for us."

Mr. Roslasky added "It is also very helpful to see the information on the site is layered so that our customers can easily understand the material, while enthusiasts and professionals can easily dig deeper for specifications needed as part of the design and installation process. In addition to the clear message that ELAN and their Dealers are the single solution for all Whole Home System needs, we like the easy access to the site's referral system for new customers based on location and the services needed. That will become a critical tool in helping us continue to grow our business."
