05.16.2008 — ELAN Home Systems, Sunfire, and HomeLogic are debuting more than 15 new products at ELAN Tech Week 2008 (May 13-16) in Lexington, Ken.
ELAN's product introductions include the VIA! Valet10.0-EM 10 tabletop/under-cabinet Touch Panel/Widescreen Video Monitor, a software update that allows for linking up to eight SS1 System Stations.
They're also showing 2-way serial drivers for control of Lutron HomeWorks lighting systems and Jandy Pool & Spa's Aqualink and preview ELANTOOLS – their next generation of dealer setup software.
Sunfire is making the following announcements:
- 401 Series electronics platform for receivers and preamps
- Will integrate Sunfire's amplifier technology with ELAN's Olé Film Interactive Touchpads for Zone 2 control, Sirius Radio and front-mounted gaming connectivity
- Introduces the TGR-401 Receiver, TGP-401 Preamp/Processor and TGA-7401(7x400), 7201 (7x200), 5201 (5x200) Amps with Trackingdown Converter output stage
- Sunfire is adding the Cinema Ribbon Bipole, a 2700 watt flat-panel subwoofer, to the XT Series
- Expanding the High Resolution Subwoofer Series into complete 5.1 home theater speakers with the HRS Sat4 and Sat 4c
HomeLogic's new technologies include ELAN Olé and VIA! compatibility, an enhanced A/V-Centric GUI, DVR functionality, drivers with ELAN S8.6 and S12 Support, and ELAN serial and IR driver library support that imports any ELAN 1-way serial or IR driver.
These new product introductions are part of the trio of sister companies' new "Power of Three" initiative to deliver home systems for dealers backed by a support, training and sales infrastructure.
