The DVD-1800BD features HDMI 1.3a with Deep Color and Bonus View support, Dolby and DTS-HD audio formats, 1080p scaling and 2-channel analog audio output.
Like Denon's DVD-3800BDCI (pictured) and DVD-2500BTCI Blu-ray players, the DVD-1800BD supports Blu-ray Disc Transport, allowing owners of advanced A/V receivers to add Blu-ray capability to their system.
The Denon DVD-1800BD has a secondary audio and video decoder, allowing for simultaneous playback of a secondary audio and video track.
It is compatible with additional information (subtitles, audio streams, camera angles, trailers, games, etc.) downloaded from the Internet.
The Denon DVD-1800BD will ship in October for $749.
